When I first started working at a previous job, I was overwhelmed by the flood of emails, Google Docs, and memos that came my way. It was so overwhelming that my onboarding guide specifically recommended various email filters to set up so that the important emails didn't fall through the cracks.

People now prep for texts with brainrot videos generated from study material they can't focus on alone. In an age where the catchiest content comes in 10-second soundbites, and the population's attention span has been decimated, zig when others zag.

The biggest hack to being better than you were yesterday is simply to do the reading. You'd be surprised at how many people haven't done it.
